IDEA:

I think Spotify should partner with/create a dating app or roommate-pairing app that allows new users to “Sign up with Spotify” rather than with google, email, etc — those sign up systems are repetitive and boring. You could draw people in by assigning them a ‘music archetype,’ based on their spotify wrapped, analyzing their personality and telling them what their music taste & listening style says about them.

When users connect their Spotify, the app could gather enough data to populate most of a ‘profile’ page - basic info (name, age, email, location, etc), lifestyle info such as interests & political leanings (what podcasts do they listen to?), sleeping schedule (what time do they listen to music?), emotionality/mood (music vibe? playlist titles?), and more. Users could add photos and edit/add profile info if they want to, and then start swiping through potential matches. 

To make it more fun and personalized, you could sort potential matches based on compatibility with their ‘music archetype’ - and once two people match, they can unlock their music compatibility chart (this would incentivize people to ‘swipe right’/request new matches, and also ask their friends to join to see their compatibility). That way, the app would be fun to use even if you aren’t actively seeking new roommates/dates.
